Hello! Since I do not have \240 (or \xA0) at that place or anywhere in /usr/include/glib-2.0/glib/gtestutils.h, my current guess is that your gtestutils.h got corrupted. What you could do: - Grab a hex editor for Linux and inspect the bytes at that place - Re-install GTK+ 2.x and try again Please report back. Thanks! (In reply to Sebastian Pipping from comment #2) > - Re-install GTK+ 2.x and try again Err, glib, not GTK+. With succeeded with -j1 Any ideas other than forcing the build to -j1? I appreciate any help. I just started seeing similar failures in two unrelated packaged, dev-lang/php and app-office/libreoffice. Setting MAKEOPTS="-j1" mysteriously solves the problem for me too. I've been running memtest for a few hours but my RAM seems to be fine. *shrug* Closing as obsolete as 2.8.6 no longer is in Gentoo. Please re-open as needed. |
