I have the same problem. I get the error message in the exact same area. I'm using 64-bit gentoo also. Looks like a 64 bit specific problem. The Changelog doesn't have the person who marked it as stable on amd64 which is really who this belongs to. However, it might be helpful if one of you can attach the following file to this bug (as an attachment please): /var/tmp/portage/faad2-1.1/work/faad2/libfaad/Makefile It appears that it is getting generated incorrectly on amd64 for some reason. faad2 Makefile
requested Makefile from /var/tmp/portage/faad2-1.1/work/faad2/libfaad/Makefile
Version 2.0 of faad2 is now marked stable. Can you try recompiling and see if this bug still exists in 2.0? Sorry about the long wait, I was on a long but very needed vacation. Anybody who ran into this problem still listening? I'm going to close this bug as NEEDINFO. If you can verify that this still happens with faad2 2.0 (which is now stable), please re-open the bug. |
