This problem has actually existed before the 3.0.0 version.

The build fails when trying to find files related to the audacious plugin even though that USE option is turned off. After disabling the jack USE option, the build completes.

I cannot reproduce the issue with 3.1.1-r1 any more.  Please re-open if it still applies to 3.1.1-r1 with you.  Thanks!
