you don't have the driver built for what you are attempting to do. Include USE flags for the version you are having this issue with and include your log files. e.g. /var/log/libvirt/libvirtd.log and /var/log/libvirt/$driver/x86.log I honestly expect better bug reports from developers, especially arch team members. Sorry, it was a report in a hurry. libvirtd.log says: 2013-06-09 18:37:54.553+0000: 3929: error : virDriverLoadModule:78 : failed to load module /usr/lib64/libvirt/connection-driver/libvirt_driver_qemu.so /usr/lib64/libvirt/connection-driver/libvirt_driver_qemu.so: undefined symbol: VIR_STRDUP This happens after I start the service. There aren't any other logs. [ebuild R ] app-emulation/libvirt-1.0.5.1-r2 USE="caps libvirtd macvtap nls policykit python qemu udev vepa -audit -avahi -firewalld -fuse -iscsi -lvm -lxc -nfs -numa -openvz -parted -pcap -phyp -rbd -sasl (-selinux) -systemd -uml -virt-network -virtualbox -xen" 1.0.6 works fine here. Fixed in revbump 1.0.5.1-r3. |
