net-print/hplip-3.13.5 needs to be edited so that it depends on virtual/python-imaging and not on dev-python/imaging as to resolve an hard block between pillow and imaging.

This not possible until dev-python/reportlab also depends on the virtual. You can open a bug for reportlab, probably it already supports both implementations. If you do so please make this bug depend on the reportlab bug.
