Description shad0VV 2013-06-06 18:46:42 UTC
I have the following problem, whenever i use cups for printing or ps2pdf, i get errors from ghostscript.
This happens because default infinality.conf disables type1 fonts

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use USE flag infinality in freetype
2.Try to print with cups or convert a ps file to pdf(ps2pdf), then you have error
3.Edit infinality.conf and comment the lines which disable type1 fonts, and printing or ps convertion works.
Actual Results:
ps2pdf cdemu.ps cdemu.pdf
Error: /invalidfont in /findfont

From the README:

"If you run into trouble with applications not being able to find Type-1 fonts, then comment out the relevant lines in /etc/fonts/infinality/infinality.conf"

If you want to suggest a better solution, please add it to bug 436500
