dev-tex/pgf-2.10 was released a while ago (well, 2.5yrs ago to be exact) and since then the code has seen a few XeTeX compatibility fixes I'd really appreciate.

Could you provide either a snapshot ebuild for current CVS, or a live ebuild?

it can be done but its not very practical; could you please drop an email to upstream authors asking for its status and if they plan to make a new release ? (maybe asking for a release might motivate them)

there's a new release upstream it seems: bug #497436

(duplicate is not correct but best i can think of)
