ua0zeh# emerge -pqv '=sci-visualization/gnuplot-4.6.3'
[ebuild U ] sci-visualization/gnuplot-4.6.3 [4.6.2-r1] USE="X cairo examples gd latex plotutils qt4 readline wxwidgets (-aqua) -bitmap -doc -emacs -ggi -lua (-svga) -thin-splines -xemacs"
Propably caused by leftover/broken .la (libtool archive) file. Nothing in gnuplot itself is referring to png15 directly, so it's coming from your system. Find and delete it. # find /usr/ -name '*.la' -exec grep png15 {} + Propably it's enough to re-emerge or upgrade the package owning the broken .la file to make it disappear, otherwise rm -f it *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 319101 *** Just for reference, find did not show any .la which references png15. After analyzing the config.log I saw that the gd check failed due to missing png15 (it didn't abort configure o.O). After rebuild of gd, gnuplot builds. |
