swaks-20040404.1.ebuild (New Package)
Depends on dev-perl/Authen-NTLM - http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47008 and dev-perl/Authen-DigestMD5 - http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47009 The prereqs are now in portage - any chance this can be added? It's terribly useful for mail admins... Thanks. <taps mike> Is this thing on? =) This was submited 9 months ago - the prereqs are now in portage - can we have this added, pretty-please? There hasn't been a new release since 20040404.1 Thanks Hi Benjamin, Nothing's been happening upstream with this package for a pretty long while now. If you still think this bug is valid, or I'm just plain wrong (hehe), feel free to reopen. Thanks for the submission none the less. Tom Hi Tom, It's not actually a "bug" - just a request for submission to Portage. Nothing much has happened upstream because the tool has attained enlightenment, and does it's one thing, well =) Seriously, I think it hasn't changed because nobody's found new bugs or and critically need bits of functionality -- nothing on the TODO list is anything I care about, anyway =). I still use it constantly (and still manually install it on new Gentoo boxes). It's a super-useful tool for anyone dealing with mail servers. Thanks, -b I'll have a look at it later tonight, hopefully. Wow, this is a super-useful tool, quite superior to smtptools. Glad to have it in portage. Thanks for the ebuild! |
