The given emerge --info above was when I got crashes. What do you think, Patrick? Xavier, I know I may do this request damn late but can you maybe find out which module crashed for you without nss? nope, I uninstalled apache on the Raspberry Pi. (In reply to Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) from comment #3) > Xavier, I know I may do this request damn late but can you maybe find out > which module crashed for you without nss? Hello Lars, I've installed apache again. How can I figure it out? the service crashes immediately. (In reply to Xavier Miller from comment #5) > > Hello Lars, > > I've installed apache again. > > How can I figure it out? the service crashes immediately. Hello Xavier, there should be a file /var/log/apache/startuperror.log which might contain some messages that could be related to this problem. Hello, The actual version (~arm) of apache works with apr-util[-nss] I don't have any crash for now, and PHP works well on it (tested with owncloud). I am not sure that apr-util[nss] is needed, since I just filed a bug that USE=nss has no effect on apr-util. Bug 518708 What version of apr-util was used? Is it possible that just rebuilding apr-util fixed the issue regardless of the use flag? Where any other packages rebuilt when you did USE=nss? Are you able to repoduce the bug? I just did: USE="-openssl -nss" emerge -1 apr-util emerge -1 apache systemctl start apache2 (Yes, I know, I don't systemd either, I just haven't switched back to openrc yet...) ps aux | grep apache2 <<clear evidence of apache running, see below>> lynx http://localhost <<page that displays "It Works!">> I used apache-2.2.7 and apr-utils-1.5.3-r1 (modified per 518708) ps output: root 5691 0.5 0.1 131092 8308 ?
