I'm sorry, allow me to elaborate on this -- apparently I emerged a couple of things afterwards, so KDevelop may not have been responsible :/ I checked /var/log/emerge.log, and here are the last few things that I emerged before I started noticing problems: dclib dcgui-qt After these were done, the problems seemed to begin. At first I was worried that I may have inadvertently run emerge -twice-, as I had emerged kdevelop in a detached screen session. However, after investigating I was able to determine that emerged had finished and I had logged out of the screen account long before I started on the other emerges. After attempting to find a way of recreating this problem several times, I've been unable to do so...might just have been a temporary hiccup or something like that, as I've reinstalled all of the above packages without any visible problems. Feel free to close this, if it occurs again I'll make a note :> can't recreate it here - sounds like a fluke. |
