I think I found the bug:
There is a wrong logic in /lib64/rc/net/bonding.sh:
This patch fixes it for me.
There can be either miimon or arp_interval/arp_ip_target but not both. You have to choose only one method so I don't think that this is a bug actually. "ARP monitoring should not be used in conjunction with miimon." /usr/src/linux/Documentation/networking/bonding.txt Yoou are right about bonding configuration. How about detecting usage of both and show a warning or error? Your patch is already included in bug e0bbe8d0bde82b14aa9a867707298c2040442151 per bug 447790.
