The external setfont, which is part of sys-apps/kbd, provides the -u and
-O options, which OpenRC uses to set unicode fonts as well as store
fonts for usage during early boot. However, these options are not
supported by the busybox internal setfont command. Can you please look
into adding them?

Is there an upstream bug for this (feature addition)? Couldn't find one.
