*** Bug 468588 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I'll commit a fix in a minute, then explain. Using commit message: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Drop unnecessary PYTHON_USEDEP on gobject-introspection. (Portage version: 2.2.0_alpha174/cvs/Linux x86_64, signed Manifest commit with key 9627F456F9DA7643!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That should fix it. I'm not sure about it but I think gobject-introspection is Python impl-agnostic. If it weren't, the package should have been committed as python-single-r1 since multi-impl package can't ever have deps satisfied by single-impl package. That's what the USEdep enforces in a hard-to-guess way. In any case, the ebuild resulting in such failure should have never been committed. It just shows that the developer didn't test dependency tree with USE=python before committing. thanks for fixing this quickly. *** Bug 468588 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
