Henrik, please attach files to the bug instead of putting it on-line somewhere and posting a link. Greg, there's been no activity for over a year. What's the status? Created attachment 56974 [details]
irssi-0_8_9.txt
I moved away from this package on my machines (as I did not want to abandon my SOCKS USE flags and such) and started using "irssi-cvs" package instead. So I can't really say if it still is an issue. I can try emerge the old irssi package later next week. Hm, that linking looks quite strange. In the final libtool call there is -lsocks but in the invocation of gcc there is no -lsocks. net-irc/irssi-0.8.9-r1 has the same issues as irssi-0.8.9 with functions
SOCKS{close,accept,getsockname,gethostbyname,...} being undefined.
Works with irssi-svn as usual.
Try w/ 0.8.10-r3 and reopen if it still doesn't work. |
