Looks huge, from what bug report does it come? this is much better effort at cleaning up the code making it work on modern systems. https://github.com/msharov/sc.git (In reply to darwinskernel from comment #2) > this is much better effort at cleaning up the code making it work on modern > systems. > https://github.com/msharov/sc.git i'm attaching a 9999 ebuild with no 'if' check for 9999 Created attachment 373524 [details]
ebuild script
in fact, with a little hand holding perhaps, i'm willing to take over the maintance of this since i use sc quite often. CCing proxy-maintainers then: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Proxy_Maintainers It should be better to package a concrete snapshot from github instead of using the 9999 ebuild. You can take a look to grive ebuilds as an example for doing that easily with github Once done i can commit the fix / bump and assign you as proxy maintianer CCing treecleaners as current version is broken and major changes are needed (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #9) > CCing treecleaners as current version is broken and major changes are needed Works for me. (In reply to Jeroen Roovers from comment #10) > Works for me. To expand on that: I've been playing around with sc all morning and didn't observe the issue reported here even once, even while running the tutorial as indicated. |
