gnome-desktop 3.6.3 throw the similar wanning: gnome-desktop-thumbnail.c: In function 'gnome_desktop_thumbnail_factory_save_thumbnail': gnome-desktop-thumbnail.c:1430:3: warning: format '%ld' expects argument of type 'long int', but argument 4 has type 'time_t' [-Wformat=] g_snprintf (mtime_str, 21, "%ld", original_mtime); ^ gnome-desktop-thumbnail.c: In function 'gnome_desktop_thumbnail_factory_create_failed_thumbnail': gnome-desktop-thumbnail.c:1536:3: warning: format '%ld' expects argument of type 'long int', but argument 4 has type 'time_t' [-Wformat=] g_snprintf (mtime_str, 21, "%ld", mtime); ^ Please report this to upstream -> bugzilla.gnome.org OK, also, this warnings shouldn't be treated as error, but I am not sure how -- enable-compile-warnings option works :S Passing "--disable-compile-warnings" let it compile (without the patch)? gnome-base/gnome-common-3.7.4 version bump? What will that change? Would it be possible to add the patch for -r1 until the upstream version is released ? 3.8.3 should fix this |
