Created attachment 345650 [details] 3.9-radeon-uvd.tar.xz Attached patchset enables video decode acceleration on some newer radeon cards. Inclusion in upstream kernel is planned for 3.10. Please consider for inclusion in the Gentoo 3.9 patchset. This requires new firmware which is already part of x11-drivers/radeon-ucode and will be part of sys-kernel/linux-firmware soon.
