*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 354589 *** This is no dupe of bug #354589. The affected machine has help2man installed. When you look into the build.log file you can see that the error messages is completely different from the bug you marked this one as dupe. I think I had the same issue. After rebuilding sys-apps/help2man-1.40.11, which required rebuilding dev-perl/Locale-gettext-1.50.0, sys-apps/texinfo-4.13-r2 built successfully. This problem is caused by /bin/sh -> dash symlink. As soon as I changed the symlink to point to bash the package emerged successfully. (In reply to comment #3) > I think I had the same issue. Thanks (In reply to comment #2) the point is that help2man shouldn't be run at all *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 354589 *** |
