please, can you submit patches instead of complete ebuilds?
and - for me it looks like it is a problem of the tarball, isn't it?

Sorry, here it is as a patch. The tarball contains the file; the problem is in
the way that the files are copied to the image dir. tools.gif isn't installed
into the build folder and subsequently is left out from the install.

I believe the usual install scenario is to simply extract the contents of the
tarball and copy the entire folder into the Products dir.

Since plone cannot be properly installed without this, please add to the portage tree?
Comment 5 Andy Dustman 2004-06-25 14:46:14 UTC
Attachment #34148 [details] (bug #51825) has a fixed ebuild for 1.0.4. It was also missing version.txt and Extensions.
Comment 6 Jürgen Hötzel 2004-07-23 11:45:07 UTC
Yes, the 1.0.4 ebuild works for me. This should be in portage. archetypes depends on this and isnt useable without the Extensions dir. You cannot even install archetypes in an Plone instance:

File //var/lib/zope/zope-2_6_4/Products/Archetypes/Extensions/Install.py, line
 3, in ?
ImportError: cannot import name installTypes
