Since the demise of Google Reader, the original rss2email has been forked to support the IMAP protocol.

So far it's working great for my needs, so I'd like to see it added to portage. There hasn't been an official release, yet, so live checkout from github is needed.

Closing because as of today rss2imap has:

 * zero releases

 * last commit more than 15 months old

 * 5 open issues

 * no other relevant distro seems to have it packaged
