I've modified the the ebuild from dev-embedded/sdcc-2.4.0 to use sources from the CVS repository. I wasn't sure about what the version number should be though. This package will also overwrite any files from the sdcc-2.4.0.ebuild as well.

FYI, I forgot to mask the ebuild KEYWORDS="~x86" - needs to be set.

go and read http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/policy.xml
see the section on cvs ebuilds.

we won't be putting a live cvs ebuild into place, but you can easily use the snapshot system already, just copy sdcc-2.4.0_p20040304.ebuild to
sdcc-2.4.0_p20040331.ebuild or a newer date (we'll update it early next month ourselves).

Only just found out the cvs ebuild I put in as not installing correctly . Its fixed now.
