Description Thilo Pfennig 2004-03-30 05:46:48 UTC
I can not print with my USB printer - but no problem via Knoppix CD. I do not see a file /proc/bus/usb/drivers , but it should be there? I am using Kernel 2.6.5-rc-2

Other details:
ls -l /dev/usb/lp0 ~
crw-rw-rw- 1 root lp 180, 0 1. Jan 1970 /dev/usb/lp0

lsmod|grep usb ~
usblp 11776 0
usbcore 103644 5 usblp,uhci_hcd,hid

Everything looks good. But printer does not print. Seems to be an USB problem, not CUPS! Printer is Epson C44 Plus.

enable LogLevel debug in cupsd.conf and post a log of the printing process
