abook moved to git and also there is a patch available for importing vcard files. Especially vcard import seems to be quite useful.
Therefore it would be nice to have a recent ebuild available, maybe even a -9999 if possible.

metadata.xml patch

The abook's code from the git repository can optionally be built against dev-libs/libvformat which offers a more robust parser helpful to import vcf files (especially wrt vcf fields encoding).
Otherwise the traditional built-in parser is used.

We've got 0.6.1 in the tree now which probably satisfies this.
