I can't remember a version where it behaved like that ever. In the meantime i have an workaround for that issue which i'm using in my start/stop script for qemu guests. It actually calculates the port via: "${given_port} + 59635 - 65535" Starting a guest with port 5804 would actually start the guest with -vnc ${ip}:-96 It's a bit strange, but it works :) BTW, nice analogy with xkcd. love this one :D Going to mark this as upstream since we'll really want the change for this to land upstream rather than carrying a downstream patch. |
