ebuild /usr/portage/sys-kernel/git-sources/git-sources-3.9_rc2.ebuild digest and it downloads all necessary files with creating checksums. After that it installs fine. This ebuild downloads the patch as .xz All the old kernel patches in my distfiles are .bz2 . As you can see here: http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/sys-kernel/git-sources/Manifest?view=markup the Manifest only contains the patch-3.9-rc2.bz2 but not patch-3.9-rc2.xz . I confirm problem and solution ! Thanks! I can confirm jospezial workaround here too! Thanks jospezial Manifest only contains xz in the Portage tree, unpacks fine, please sync again. Since you actually saw bz2 there, it feels like there was a hiccup. |
