I humbly request an ebuild for logmerge:

It is a "Small and powerful script to merge two or more logfiles so that multilined entries appear in the correct chronological order without breaks of entries."  It is only a single file.

BTW mergelog in portage can only handle common log format.  logmerge can handle combined log format and many others.
