Description Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2013-03-05 13:02:55 UTC
From $URL :

Linux kernel built with support for XFS file system is vulnerable to a NULL
pointer dereference flaw. This occurs while accessing blocks beyond the end
of the file system, possibly on a corrupted device.

A user able to mount the file system could use this flaw to crash the kernel, resulting in DoS.

Comment 1 Christopher Díaz Riveros (RETIRED) gentoo-dev Security 2018-04-04 19:14:39 UTC
There are no longer any 2.x or <3.7.6 kernels available in the repository with
the exception of sys-kernel/xbox-sources which is unsupported by security.
