4.2.2 was released on 3rd Feb or so.
No new ebuild required, just copy 4.2.1 => 4.2.2.

NOTE however that there appears to be an erroneous .lock file in the archive that prevents normal operation such as updating and installing new software.
Might be worth adding something to the ebuild to remove that file or at least post a warning about it.
