I'm incurred in the same problem of bug #396309 where it's rightly noted to re-emerge dev-ml/lablgl.
Because we don't have any other way to prevent this until we are in the configure phase, it could be useful give a message to the user in case of a configure error wher there's the 'opengl' USE flag activated.

Hi Joeren, I've already see the bug #396309, but what I'm asking here is to
*** give a message to the user suggesting to re-emerge dev-ml/labgl *** (when there's a configure error and the 'opengl' useflag is active).
Thanks in advance.

its the same for *every* ocaml package; that's why the only such message is printed with dev-lang/ocaml, please reread it.
eapi5 conversion is on its way though, and will remove the need to manually rebuild packages; feel free to file bugs with patches to help
