Thunderbird on 2-nd start (completely correct localization)
Update 17.0.4 to 17.0.5 reproduced issue. Could it be Gentoo-specific, or I'm to report it upstream? Last comment is almost 2 years old, reopen and update if you can reproduce with current esr builds. No comments means no changes. The issue reproduces on each update. Last time — on first start of Thindetbird 31.3.0 after update from 24.8.0. Upstream knows this issue. Adding link. First start after update to =mail-client/thunderbird-38.1.0 confirmed issue. Update to 38.2.0. The issue seems to be fixed at least for minor updates in ESR branch. Waiting the next update to confirm fix. In 38 ESR I had to re-create TBs profile. After doing so, update to mail-client/thunderbird-38.3.0 showed this issue non-present. Was it fixed in 38 ESR or it's some profile-dependent issue — I don't know. |
