this is not a regression. Is this still the case for ruby-1.9.3_p551-r1? And for newer ruby versions? We intend to mask ruby19 for removal shortly. Also cc'ing ia64 since I don't have the hardware or knowledge to look at this. * Messages for package dev-lang/ruby-2.0.0_p645: * This package has a configure.in file which has long been deprecated. Please * update it to use configure.ac instead as newer versions of autotools will die * when it finds this file. See https://bugs.gentoo.org/426262 for details. * QA Notice: The following files contain writable and executable sections * Files with such sections will not work properly (or at all!) on some * architectures/operating systems. A bug should be filed at * http://bugs.gentoo.org/ to make sure the issue is fixed. * For more information, see http://hardened.gentoo.org/gnu-stack.xml * Please include the following list of files in your report: * Note: Bugs should be filed for the respective maintainers * of the package in question and not hardened@g.o. * !WX --- --- usr/lib/libruby20-static.a:ia64.o https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/8245 may be related but that has not seen any activity in the past 2 years. Ruby 2.0 is now masked for removal. |
