![]() It seems that syslog-ng is just passing through time stamps, ignoring the timezone information in the incoming messages. It looks like you can tell it to translate time stamps with some configuration settings. Not quite sure why lvm would send syslog messages with UTC time stamps instead of local time. The lvm code only calls: syslog(LOG_INFO, "Monitoring snapshot %s\n", device); and nothing to do with the time, so I don't think the problem is there. I can't reproduce it either. |
