Description Mike Gilbert gentoo-dev 2013-02-20 03:20:40 UTC
Basically, audio output seems to be very jagged.

This happens with flash videos, html5 videos. It also happens with audio podcasts on Google Reader. Any kind of audio output from the browser really.

I can also produce the issue in Google Chrome.

Downgrading to 26.0.1403.0 resolves the issue.

Does anyone else experience this?

Passing --audio-buffer-size=2048 on the command line makes the problem go away.

Created an issue upstream.
Comment 3 Michael Mair-Keimberger (iamnr3) 2013-03-09 15:27:48 UTC
I can confirm this problem, using: www-client/chromium-26.0.1410.19. Passing --audio-buffer-size=2048 indeed helps, thanks for the tip.

chromium-27 is now stable, closing this.
