This isn't a Gentoo bug but a powertop feature [1]. You should use [tab] to switch the tabs. >=sys-power/powertop-2.2, all versions of the new powertop newer than 2.1* don't allow me to switch the tabs via left & right cursor keys only the content of the window (in the initial window: "Overview") is moved left, right, up, down I also tried out powertop-9999 but that's the same thought this was a minor issue after 2.1 but no change so far Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge powertop (since powertop 2.1 isn't in-tree anymore) 2. run powertop via 'powertop' 3. try to switch tabs via left & right keys on keyboard Actual Results: doesn't work - doesn't switch between tabs (Overview -> Idle stats -> Frequency stats - ...) instead it only moves the window's content around Expected Results: it should switch/cycle to the other tabs and provide functionality to tweak system's power settings
