Messages given by Portage will be stored later (with more recent Portage versions). Right now you'll either have to be very quick or read the ebuild sources. Regarding the content of the bugreport, our documentation clearly states that you need to select devfs support in your kernel. This is mentioned in the installation instructions: """ File systems ---> [*] Virtual memory file system support (former shm fs) [*] /proc file system support [*] /dev file system support (EXPERIMENTAL) [*] Automatically mount at boot """ and """ Note: Users of a 2.6 kernel will find some of the mentioned options under Pseudo filesystems which is a subpart of File systems. """ Marking INVALID (although I could also say it's a duplicate of the bugs mentioning that ebuild information should be stored and viewable after an emerge). |
