Hi team,

I am requesting a masked ebuild of the recently-released 1.4 version of qemu to be added to the portage tree, matching what is currently a masked ebuild for version 1.3.

Not invalid. If you have a problem with keeping portage up-to-date, ignore the request for a few days and me or someone else will cater to it.

Do not close this bug as invalid for such a stupid reason again.

Nothing annoys me more than a bug marked as invalid for an invalid reason.

I have uploaded the patch file that compiles QEMU 1.4 successfully using most of the 1.3 ebuild. Changes include removing a now-incorrect build parameter, commenting out an old epatch and commenting out a dodoc for pci-ids.txt.

It is invalid, because its already in the tree before you filed the bug. Hence why I dislike knee jerk 0-day bump requests.
