resolved. it still does seg fault when initializing as described but it started working: for some reason compiling it with "ppds" flag made it work (after choosing the correct one of course in cups's config) where both foomatic (3.0.1) and linux-printing's PPDs didn't..., STRANGE. so the problem was a wrong ppd file i think |
