thetux type 2 ebuild
This ebuild leaves a rather large mess in /usr/games. Can you try to refine it a bit please? *** Bug 45822 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Created attachment 28148 [details]
The refined tux type 2 ebuild
It now installs the data to /usr/share/games/tuxtype2 and the docs to
/usr/share/doc/tuxtype2-1.5.2
... but doesn't work. Try using your ebuild to merge tuxtype2. the binary is looking for its datafiles in the previous location. Created attachment 32254 [details]
The tuxtype 2 ebuild with standard install directories.
I don't know enough to get it to install the game to the game install dirs.
This ebuild will install it to the dirs in /usr/local/ which are the standard
for tuxtype 2. If anyone knows how to do this right it would be nice.
I'm going to wait until the author recommends this version over the tuxtype1 code. Reopen when that happens. Thanks. the old tuxtype homepage now tells people to goto tuxtype.sf.net which is where tuxtype2 is being developed i cleaned up the ebuild to properly support gentoo paths and added to portage This ebuild still has not been committed. http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/games-kids/tuxtype2/ Reopening. yeah. |
