That's your client hilighting the "link", not a bot (which is technically not even feasible with IRC). I suggest you report this upstream. There's not really much we can do about this. Created attachment 338256 [details] screen shot Within the #gentoo channel today I saw today, that the string : (/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/opt/bin:/usr/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/gcc-bin/4.6.3) was highlighted starting from "bin:/usr/bin". Except that it is even wrong to put the whole path construct into a link /me wonders why only a fraction was converted.
