I appear to have been mistaken, with MAKEOPTS=-j4 the failure seems consistently to be slightly different. Log attached.

Bug 455034 is a different issue. 2.0.0 is not capable of building against PostgreSQL 9.2. This is simply a recursive make issue. One that I had thought was fixed by upstream seeing as my compiling the package dozens of times now has never had an issue. Look for an update soon. 06 Feb 2013; Aaron W.
