Description C. Wijtmans 2013-01-28 04:42:01 UTC
I am not sure whether it is rmd or theora that is messing up the video bitrate?
It is a very old bug and is still not fixed even trying the suggested `--v_bitrate 2000000` flag and my video is laggy, jaggy and dark.
I am using qt-recordmydesktop and i passed on the flag suggested by this site.
http://yuenhoe.com/blog/2010/02/solving-recordmydesktops-slow-framerate-problem/

I put my FPS at 50 because qt-recordmydesktop does not allow me to set it at 60.
http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=62508

The command line qt-recordmydsktop outputted is:
`recordmydesktop -o /home/christ/out.ogv --fps 50 --channels 1 --freq 22050 --v_quality 63 --s_quality 10 --workdir /tmp --compress-cache --no-frame --v_bitrate 2000000`
