This bug is similar to bug #38570 (transcode-0.6.12). Filter -fforce-addr flag will solve it.

I'd like to confirm that I had the same issues trying to emerge xine-lib-1_rc3-r2, and that removing -fforce-addr from my CFLAGS fixed this issue for me as well.

yep. same problem here.
please filter -fforce-addr from CFLAGS in the ebuild.
