See also bug 446410. =dev-games/irrlicht-1.8 has gone stable on x86 and amd64. cegui is now broken for USE="irrlicht" on these platforms. then stabilize it x86 stable amd64 stable. Last arch, closing I'm sure this is not the place to post this but this occured because dev-games/cegui-0.7.7-r1 went stable. [ebuild R ] dev-games/cegui-0.6.2b WARNING: One or more updates have been skipped due to a dependency conflict: dev-games/cegui:0 (dev-games/cegui-0.7.7-r1::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) conflicts with =dev-games/cegui-0.6*[opengl] required by (app-emulation/spice-0.11.3::gentoo, installed) decide which one you want, irrlicht or spice. from reading the app-emulation/spice ebuild it seems they were working on a "static" useflag you might want to open a bug/feature request about that, maybe you can get away with cegui just being a build-time dep then (In reply to comment #7) > decide which one you want, irrlicht or spice. Apoligies again, not sure what you mean, adding the irrlicht use flag only produces this: # emerge -a1v dev-games/cegui These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild N ] dev-games/irrlicht-1.8 USE="-debug -doc" 23,120 kB [ebuild R ] dev-games/cegui-0.6.2b USE="irrlicht* opengl xml -debug -devil -directfb -doc -examples -expat -lua -xerces-c" 0 kB Total: 2 packages (1 new, 1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 23,120 kB WARNING: One or more updates have been skipped due to a dependency conflict: dev-games/cegui:0 (dev-games/cegui-0.7.7-r1::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) conflicts with =dev-games/cegui-0.6*[opengl] required by (app-emulation/spice-0.12.2::gentoo, installed) I apologise for the noise, since I have not had time to actually make use of spice yet on my kvm's (QEMU) I removed the spice use flag from qemu and removed it and cegui till some future date when I can deal with it. Again, sorry and thank you for the suggestions. |
