having this hassle now about 4 times ,with different setups of emerge --sync.
Did not have this problem with the 64 bit machine.
Allways fails at the same place,Ive not been able to get any useful info from the build log,usually there is a mention of a missing file.

From build log: Could not load plugin at  "/usr/lib/soprano/libsoprano_raptorparser.so" .  "Cannot load library /usr/lib/soprano/libsoprano_raptorparser.so: (libicuuc.so.49: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)"

Please run revdep-rebuild.

THANKYOU THANKYOU, that was the answer,had to remove freecad and a couple of files attached to it as they were failing also. But kdelibs has now compiled& I can continue with the update
