If I compile framebuffer and video drivers as modules then panic happens earlier - at initramfs stage or before that. I can't say for sure, because currently I'm unable to use serial console. I guess that in this case udev load video modules (radeon, ttm, etc) at initramfs stage so that's why it crashes earlier. My initramfs does not contain other modules that needs to be load. I've just tested gentoo-sources-3.7.3. No problem with it. it's already fixed in PaX, wait for the next grsec ;). grsecurity-2.9.1-3.7.4-201301230048 is out. Waiting for ebuild. :) This issue is fixed in hardened-sources-3.7.4. Thanks. |
