After upgrading to icu-50.1.1 libreoffice-4.0.0.1 apps segfault after showing the splash screen. The following is seen on /var/log/messages:

soffice.bin[17074]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f5cbca428e6 sp 00007fffa9db89e0 error 4 in libicule.so.50.1.1[7f5cbca2e000+40000]

The following arch thread recommends recompiling libreoffice:

Confirmed that a recompile fixes the issue.
