ck-sources-3.7.2.ebuild
Ebuild for the 3.7.2 release.
This release is Based on :
- Sources for the linux 3.7 branch
- genpatches rev 4
- 3.7-ck1 patchset including bfs-426
This release introduces a new use flag : "accept_early" that should be set by the user in order to force the installation of the package.
If this use flag is not set (default situation) then this release will not be installed. (Precaution taken because of the packages broken when built against this version of linux sources.)

OK, forget it ! Now that 3.7.5 is out upstream, it does not make much sense to push a 3.7.2-ck. And as I do not intend to rework on the 3.7 branch until first gentoo-sources stable... Well it makes sense to me to push 3.7.2 anyway. There is no 3.7.X version for ck-sources in the tree anyway. I apologize for forgetting about this bug > I apologize for forgetting about this bug
Don't worry for this Markos, I can easily imagine that you just cannot be everywhere doing everything as it seems you are.
Anyway... I just dislike this release... !
BTW, about future potential modifications of the metadatas, what is the method preferred by proxy-maintainers ? The new file attached as we have done since the beginning or Jer's mmhhh... "suggestion" ?

I am not sure I understand what you mean :) (In reply to comment #7) > (In reply to comment #6) > I am not sure I understand what you mean :) Hmmm... §1 ~ κανένα πρόβλημα §2 ~ Δεν μου αρέσει 3.7 §3 : Well, I infer from Jer's comment that : a: He could no longer find anything to correct in the summary of the bugs I submit..., b: He believes that, as far as the metadata.xml is concerned, I should attach a patch rather than the file itself. I do not really mind but because, at the end of the day, it's the proxy-maintainer's job to deal with attachments, I was asking you which way you prefer. Well ok. The title of the bugs are totally subjective and each bug-wrangler changes to what he feels it fits best in every case. As for the metadata.xml I don't mind. Whatever works for each submitted. No need to write in Greek. I just couldn't follow the Jer's argument. Ok then closing this bug. Open a new one when a desired ck-sources version is released. |
