same core problem applies to net-misc/wget-1.13.4 I don't understand what needs doing here Just update the prefix tree snapshot with the newest patches/ebuilds. Otherwise, you can't bootstrap on a host with glibc 2.16+ (In reply to comment #2) For the records: Manpage gets(3) tells "BUGS: Never use gets().", so glibc-2.16 removed gets(). Actually, the reason glibc-2.16 removed gets() is because it's no longer specified in the C standard. It was merely deprecated in the old version. Not sure for the current bootstrap tarball, but with LATEST_TREE=yes tar-1.27 is used already. |
