Confirmed with the gnucash-1.8.8: Clicking "Open the new user tutorial" option in the 1st dialog window causes the error noted above. Is this a missing dependancy required to show the help file? Or is ORBit TCP networking the clue? Okay - problem solved. Merging gconf-1.0.9 fixed it. This is definitely a portage problem: Because I had gconf-2* [slot 2] installed, updates to gconf-1* [slot 1] were never shown. Not true, because of the slots you will be notified of new versions/updates for each slot. If this is still reproduceable/a problem - please re-open. |
